Happy Veteran’s Day to all those who have helped fight for our country and protect our freedom! A special thank you, in no particular order, to my grandfather, Uncle Jamie Abendroth, Whitney Fenderson, Tony Fernandez, and Andy McClement.
My day started bright and early at 5:30am no, make that 3am because of all the tossing and turning. I think it may have had something to do with my later than usual dinner because I worked so late but I can’t be sure. After I ran around like a chicken with my head cut off to get out the door because hitting that snooze button obviously happened I was at work and ready to go at 6:30am. Some of you may be wondering how on earth I begin work at such early hours but if I start work at 6:30/7:00am it means I got to sleep in! I can happily say that 90% of the time I am a morning person and have no problem. Today, I was not a morning person but knowing all the sacrifices others have made for me I knew I had to push myself.
After my morning clients it was time to get to work on some new programing and my own workout! I wish I could lie and say that this workout was a piece of cake but I didn’t work out much last week because I was nasty sick if you remember my TMI post. Even though I knew this workout wasn’t going to be a walk in the park it had to get done! Time to get back on track with my own workouts and kick things up a notch as 2015 rolls in around the corner!
Tuesday up and at em:
Stairmaster 10min warm up
Squat Thrusters 30lbs 12reps
Curtsey Lunges 30lbs 12 reps
Push ups 15reps
Band pull ups 10reps
Hanging Leg Raises 15 Reps
I hope you enjoy!
Now its off to fuel up with a protein smoothie and get ready for Equinox’s Anniversary Party tonight! If you are around Equinox Wall Street come on by for some food, drinks, and workouts led by your one and only moi 😉
